Ghana’s COVID-19 case count now over 3,000

Ghana’s COVID-19 case count is now at 3,091.

According to the Ghana Health Service COVID-19 news portal, 9 more patients have recovered from the disease. This means that additional 372 new cases have been added since Tuesday. No new deaths have been recorded maintaining the 18.

The latest update has the Bono region recording its first case leaving three regions — Bono East, Ahafo and Savannah—as the only regions yet to record any case.

Greater Accra still has the highest number of cases, 2,579 about 83 per cent; followed by Ashanti at 165; and Eastern at 95.
