Starting today, the Ghana Health Service, with support from some stakeholders will embark on Polio Outbreak Reactive Vaccination Round 1 in all districts within the Greater Accra Region.
The Regional Director of Health Service, Dr.Mrs. Charity Sarpong made this known at a media briefing in Accra.
She said the polio vaccines are safe and entreated parents and guardians to immunize their children below five years against the disease
