A pan African Multilateral Financial Institution, the African Export-Import Bank, Afreximbank, has announced a $2 billion guarantee package for vaccine manufacturers in Africa to help curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
The announcement was made at a news conference at the Jubilee House after the bank together with the leadership of Africa Free Trade Secretariat called on President Akufo-Addo.
The Afreximbank CEO, Prof Benedict Oromah touched on efforts being made to support the construction of the western rail line to facilitate trade.
