307 ambulances procured to assist healthcare delivery – Ken Ofori-Atta

The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, says government’s commitment to improving the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian is crystal clear and yielding positive results.

Highlighting some of the gains made by the Akufo-Addo led government, Mr. Ofori Atta, said the government has procured 307 ambulances for distribution to constituencies and regional and teaching hospitals to enhance healthcare delivery.

He also stated that the government has recruited fifty-five thousand (55,000) nurses into the health sector and 49,000 trainee nurses have been paid GH¢468 Million in allowances.

The Finance Minister said these when he presented the 2020 Budget Statement and Economic Policy in Parliament.
