The Greater Accra Health Directorate is encouraging all eligible persons living in selected districts to take advantage of the on-going free mass yellow fever vaccination exercise.
Deputy Director in charge of Public Health, Dr. Amoussou-Gohoungo Luiz, said the deadly Yellow Fever diseases endemic to Ghana, therefore there is the need for concerted effort to eliminate it by 2026.
Dr. Amoussou-Gohoungo who was speaking at a media briefing on yellow fever in Accra called for the establishment of a well-equipped lab in the country to allow for early detection.
