The Eastern Regional Hospital will begin testing for Covid-19 cases following the installation of a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machine.
The Medical Director at the Eastern Regional Hospital, Dr. Arko Akoto Ampaw said 96 tests can be carried out at a time and results of samples will be ready within four hours.
Dr. Ampaw disclosed this at the re-commissioning of the COVID-19 treatment facility in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital.
