Laboratory Scientists to resume work today

The Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists are returning to work today after calling off their strike.

This follows a meeting with the Parliamentary Committee on Health. Chairman, of  Parliamentary Committee on Health Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie highlighted the grievances of the Association and pledged the committees resolve to work on them.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists, Dr. Dennis Adu-Gyasi, confirmed on Behind the News that members will return to work this morning across the country.

He said he hopes with the intervention of the committee; the issue will be resolved quickly.
