Counting of the election results from the New Patriotic Party, NPP, primaries to determine its next flagbearer is still underway but his contender, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has already conceded defeat as he has called the Vice President to congratulate him.
In an interview with JoyNews, the former Agricultural Minister conceded to the fact that the results that were trickling in were oozing the vice president of the country to victory, hence the need to accept his fate.
The former Minster further alluded that he will play his part contributing his worth to the party moving forward in hopes of breaking the 8 come December, 2024.
Meanwhile, the other two aspirant, Francis Addai Nimo and Kennedy Agyapong are yet to throw in the towel.
