Portions of Kwapong Nursing Training College in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region has been gutted by fire.
According to eyewitnesses, students were seen rushing to safety while personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service worked to bring the blaze under control.
School authorities say the cause of the fire is not yet known, but hinted that investigations are underway to determine what triggered the incident.
Although the property damage is yet to be assessed, destruction to properties is running into millions of Cedis; however, the good news is that no casualties have been reported so far.
