The La General Hospital is to undergo redevelopment in April this year. The 52 million dollar project will see the demolition and reconstruction of the facility within 24 months.
In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Health, Elorm Ametepe says plans have been put in place to see the smooth evacuation of patients and hospital staff for work to begin.
Mr. Ametepe said when the project is completed and commissioned the name of the hospital will be maintained.
He asked for public support for its smooth implementation.
