Minister of Education hints of plans to change phase of public education

The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has revealed government plans to change the phase of public education with the creation of a new education system with ultra-modern classrooms.

The Minister of Education made these statements during the National Education Week Summit held in Accra.

He announced that government has received funding to replace dilapidated schools and is on course to start.

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum advocated for a one Ghana where all can attend a public school no matter the status.

Dr. Adutwum further explained the differences between distance education and the open University, which is set to be operationalized starting September next year.
