Ghana Premier League club, Nations FC, has announced the appointment of Kennedy Boakye Ansah as the new Chief Executive Officer. Ansah, who previously served as the club’s Brands Manager, is set to lead the team’s administrative and strategic efforts moving forward.
His promotion comes amid a period of transition for the club as they aim to improve their performance in the league.
The appointment follows the resignation of Kwame Twumasi Danquah, who stepped down after a four-year tenure as CEO.
Twumasi’s departure was prompted by the club’s failure to secure the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title. During his time in office, Twumasi played a significant role in managing club operations, but the recent results led to his decision to resign and make way for new leadership.

Kennedy Boakye Ansah’s elevation to CEO marks a new chapter for Nations FC. Prior to his current role, Ansah was well-regarded within the club for his expertise in branding and communication.
His experience in football administration extends beyond Nations FC, having previously held some good positions at other Ghanaian clubs like Kotoko, which is expected to bring fresh ideas and strategic direction to the team.
