NPP to speak on Alan Kyerematen’s resignation today

The New Patriotic Party, NPP says it will today, Tuesday September 26, 2023, respond to the resignation of Mr. Alan Kyerematen.

The Party in a statement described as unfortunate the decision by Mr. Kyerematen to forfeit his membership and contest as an independent presidential candidate in the 2024 general election.

The General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong described Mr. Kyerematen as a long-standing member of the Party, and urged the rank and file of the NPP to remain calm and await the official address from the Party.
