Passion for Needy launches its 10th milestone

Passion for Needy, an NGO established by renowned man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua is observing its 10th milestone of assisting the needy and deprived children in the country.

At the launch of the anniversary in Accra, the Chairperson of the Ghana chapter of the organisation, Mrs. Janet  Torgbor El-Aschar stated, that the NGO since its inception has supported the ‘unfortunate in society’ and continue to do so in several other ways to complement government’s efforts at making life better for the needy.

Passion For Needy, since its establishment 10 years ago,  by Nigerian Prophet TB Joshua, has been addressing the concerns of the needy in society by providing need-based assistance to individuals, communities and creating awareness for the needy.

Specifically, the organisation aims to provide assistance wholly or in conjunction with other organisations to support street children, HIV/AIDS victims, orphans, the physically-challenged, under-privileged, brilliant-but-needy children, widows and widowers and the Aged in society.

The Chairperson of the Ghanaian chapter of the organisation, Mrs. Janet Torgbor El-Aschar, disclosed that the organisation, since its establishment, has on several occasions settled the medical bills of patients at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and Ridge Hospital; distributed relief items to flood victims,  assisted two visually-impaired persons to pursue a study in reflexology and donated food items to the Teshie Orphanage.

Ms Janet Torgbor El-Aschar, said the organization has plans to establish a school for the numerous street children on the streets of Accra.

Activities for the 10th anniversary celebration is scheduled to kick start on the 9th of July 2019, during which individuals and organisations who have contributed to the success story of the organization will be honoured.
