President Akufo-Addo has condemned a Facebook post by former President Mahama which validated comments describing a group of Ghanaians as Sakawa people.
Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo wrote an article captioned “Agyapa Royalties fraud is the last straw: The Akyem Sakawa Boys and Grandpas must go” and this was shared on the Facebook page of the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The President wondered why the Catholic Bishops Conference, CSOs and other Senior Citizens are mute on the issue.
President Akufo-Addo stated this when he met with the Catholic Bishops Conference at the Jubilee House in Accra.
