Flagbearer of the All People’s Congress, APC Hasssan Ayariga, has promised free University Education for all qualified Ghanaians when voted to Power in December.

He described as unfortunate the many students who are often left out of University education as a result of financial difficulties.

Speaking at the National Delegates Congress of the party in Accra, Mr. Ayariga said the implementation of the free SHS has not been the best promising an improvement by abolishing the current double-track system.

The second national delegates congress of the party brought together regional representatives across the sixteen regions.

Mr. Hassan Ayariga touched on a number of issues, spanning Agriculture, health, security and corruption which his government would address.

He said the free SHS initiative though laudable has not been well implemented and when voted to power he would make it better.

On women empowerment, Mr. Ayariga said under his government the issue would be adequately addressed to ensure 30 percent women representation in his government.

He said his government would also be committed to addressing youth unemployment which has become a daunting task for successive governments, through the establishment of a job hub center.

There were solidarity messages from the Great Consolidated People’s Party, NDC, United Front Party, and independent candidate Joseph Osei Yeboah.
