The Wenchi High Court will today give its verdict on the Sene West Parliamentary election dispute.

A petition presented before the court by NPP’s Parliamentary Candidate, Joseph Markay Kuma after he expressed dissatisfaction with some electoral irregularities in the constituency following a ballot box that was snatched during the December 7 elections.

The box was, however, retrieved but some ballot papers in them had been tampered with as seals of the NPP had been torn. The party placed an injunction on the declaration of the parliamentary results to review the outcomes of the elections in the constituency.

Mr. Markay however withdrew his injunction against the EC in the disputed declaration of results there. Meanwhile, MP for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has indicated that the NDC won the Sene-West Parliamentary seat.
