The Acting General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), James Kwabena Bomfeh, has debunked rumours of the presence of heavily armed security personnel at the Electoral Commission’s(EC) IPAC meeting yesterday (May 16).
According to Mr. Bomfeh,, there was only one security person within the conference room where the meeting was held.
He said the IPAC meeting was successful and expressed shock at his other colleagues who say they were intimidated and harassed by the security personnel.
Mr. Bomfeh, said the meeting discussed the district level elections as well as the limited registration centres to be opened.
