The District Chief Executive, Ellembelle in the Western Region, Kwasi Bonzo, has commended the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the swift response to the fight against Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

According to him, the president was proactive in mitigating the spread of Coronavirus pandemic by closing the boarder to stop expatriates and nationals in importing the virus into the country.

He said since the outbreak, his district has also done a lot to ensure people adhered to the precautionary measure prescribed by WHO.

In an interview with gbcghaonline, he said enforcing the precautionary measure was a little difficult in the beginning but “since the region recorded its first case people began to adhere to the precautionary measure”.
