MP for Kumbugu, Ras Mubarak is urging his party, the NDC and all other political parties not to put up a candidate to contest the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat which has become vacant following the death of the sitting member, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko.
Mr. Mubarak says there should be a convention among the parties that when a sitting MP dies his or her party should select a candidate to serve his remaining term.
His comment comes after the death of the Member of Parliament of the area, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, who was announced dead on Wednesday, November 21, leaving his parliamentary seat vacant.
