The Electoral Commission (EC), has announced that it would hold another Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting in the full glare of citizens, in the interest of transparency.
In a letter inviting media for live coverage, Dr, Bossman Asare, a Deputy Chairman of the EC in Charge of Corporate Affairs, noted that there will be an IPAC meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, where each political party is expected to be represented by two persons.
The agenda for the meeting is stated as ”follow up on the discussions on the exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register”.
At the last IPAC meeting held on October 1, 2024, the first time such an event had been broadcast live, EC Chairperson, Jean Mensa, assured the public during the Special IPAC meeting that going forward, the event would be covered by the media in the interest of transparency.
