Four independent Presidential Candidates in the December polls have joined forces to form a coalition.

The four say they seek to offer Ghanaians a formidable alternative to the NDC, and NPP governments that Ghanaians have been used to under the Fourth Republic.

The Candidates said it is high time the politics of the country changed and the coalition is the only entity poised to bring about that change.

At a news conference to officially launch and outdoor the leader of the Coalition of Independent Presidential Aspirants, (CIPA), the chairman, Samuel Ofori Ampofo said the rationale for the formation of the coalition is enough basis to assure Ghanaians that they mean business.

The flagbearer of CIPA, Kofi Koranteng, said Ghanaians are yearning for a new breed of leaders to fast track the nation’s development.

He said key on their agenda is to reduce the Executive Arm of Government to 10 Ministers. He called on other independent candidates and Smaller Parties to come on board the coalition.
