The Executive Director of Stranek Africa, Nii Tettey Tetteh, has expressed disappointment in Government for interfering with the work of the Special Prosecutor, which he thinks contributed to his resignation.

Speaking on Uniiq Break Drive, Nii. Tettey Tetteh said he believed the office was only created by Government to fulfill the 2016, campaign promise and not to actually fight corruption.

He said from the look of things the Special Prosecutor’s office was a mere charade, adding that the resignation is in the right direction since Mr. Amidu wants to protect his image.

Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party has refuted claims by the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu that government interfered in his duties or investigations.
