A group describing itself as Concerned Agenda for Development in the Hohoe Constituency, has thrown its weight behind the Energy Minister, John Peter Amewu in the forthcoming NPP Parliamentary Primary.

According to the group, the Energy Minister is development focused and has the aspirations and the need of the people at heart.

A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the group, George Dogbe, said the previous MPs for the area, have not done much to develop the constituency.

It said they have also lost touch with the people, particularly the youth, whose hopes and aspirations, have been completely shattered.

The statement noted, that Mr. Amewu has so far demonstrated his capability in helping to address the concerns of the people.

It added that John Peter Amewu stands tall among all the candidates contesting the primaries in both the National Democratic (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
