A Political and Governance Analyst, Fred Agyarku Oduro, says the heavy security presence and vigorous search that political parties and their members were subjected to during yesterday’s (May 16) IPAC meeting was totally unnecessary.
Speaking on news and current affairs programme ‘Behind The News’ on Uniiq FM, Mr. Agyarku Oduro said situations like this breed mistrust among political parties, security agencies and the Electoral Commission.
This, he added, could intimidate and create anger which is not good for the nation’s democratic process.
