Akwatia, Eastern Region – August 31, 2025
The Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, on Sunday led the final rally of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Akwatia, delivering President John Dramani Mahama’s greetings and reaffirming his vision of jobs, digitalised farming, and better livelihoods. He urged the people to vote massively for the party’s candidate, 40-year-old lawyer Bernard Bediako Baidoo, at Tuesday’s by-election.
He described Baidoo, a 40-year-old lawyer, as the ideal candidate to channel the government’s policies into concrete development for the people of Akwatia.
“The President’s message is simple: Vote for Bernard Baidoo, and together we shall build a future of jobs, dignity, and development for Akwatia,” Hon. Debrah declared.
When he asked the crowd if they would support the NDC candidate, the teeming supporters roared back with a massive “YES!”
