The Bureau of Public Safety is asking National Security to adopt security codes and colours as is done elsewhere in the world and educate the public on its meanings to avert attacks.

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Executive Director of the Bureau, Nana Yaw Akwaada said the security status across the world assumed another dimension following the nine eleven US attacks and it is surprising developing countries such as Ghana has not done much to put in strategic and timely mechanisms to address security matters.

He told GBC’s Ewurabena Paha that the latest attacks on churches in some countries must be the turning point in the country’s security, since Ghana is a religious country and any attack on the church would be disastrous.
