NDC elects businessman as its Western North Regional Chairman

A 60 year old businessman, Michael Aidoo, has been elected as the Chairman for the Western North Regional branch of NDC at the party’s delegates conference held at Bodi.

He polled 165 out of 287 total votes cast to beat his contestant, Oscar Larbi who obtained 104 votes.

On the position of Secretary, George Ofori Danquah won 134 votes to beat his contestants.

The position of Deputy  Treasurer went to Peter Obeng Nyamekye as there was already a Treasurer called  Henry Rockyfeller.

The Fourteen member executive was sworn into office by the Deputy General Secretary of the Party, Peter Boamah Otokunor.

In his acceptance speech, the Regional Chairman elect called for their cooperation to help strengthen the party  and win the next year’s general elections.
