EC’s Voters registration exercise takes off today
According to reports, queue has started forming at the various registration centers.
Meanwhile, the EC is upbeat that the registration process will be robust and so voters will not waste time being registered. The chairperson of the Commission, Mrs. Jean Mensa made this known as she briefed the media in Accra on the exercise.
She said the machines being used have been configured to enable the political parties to keep track of the number of voters being registered each day at the various centres.
Mrs. Mensa also touched on the mode of registration using a cluster system.
She also said various observation missions as well as adequate security personnel will be deployed for the exercise.
