Sixteen thousand newly trained teachers have demonstrated in Accra against failure by Ghana Education Service (GES) to recruit them for postings to schools.
Speaking to Radio Ghana after the demonstration, spokesperson of the group, Kow Painstil Gyan, said they have been short changed by the GES and the sector Minister.
He asked the government to employ them as a matter of urgency.
Mr. Gyan explained the stages of consultation and processes they have been through and wonders why the Minister and the GES are now telling them a different story.
