Businessman, Mohammed Adam Bantima Samba has been retained as the Northern Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP).
He beat his closest contender Alhaji Inusah Musah popularly known a Dagomba Boy with a wide margin.
He polled 238 votes as against 122 votes obtained by Alhaji Dagomba Boy.
Ibrahim Mahama, another candidate in the contest, had a single vote.
