83 NPP delegates absent from voting in Bolgatanga Central Constituency

Bolgatanga Central Constituency recorded 83 absentees among New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates during today’s presidential primary.

Voting has now ended, and counting is underway across the country.

The delegates were expected to participate in the election to choose the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections. The five aspirants contesting the position are former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, businessman Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, former Food and Agriculture Minister Dr. Bryan Yaw Acheampong, former Education Minister Dr. Yaw Adutwum, and former Presidential Spokesperson Kwabena Agyei Agyapong.
