Political parties charged to revisit Road Safety Codes in their campaigns

Director General of the National Road Safety Authority (NRSC), May Obiri Yeboah has reiterated the need for political parties to revisit the Road Safety Codes in their Parliamentary and Presidential Campaigns.

She said the code allows all political parties to deploy road safety officers for their internal campaigns especially during the electioneering.

Speaking at a workshop organized by the Authority and the Ghana Journalists Association, GJA in Accra, May Obiri Yeboah said the move will help reduce road carnage during campaign programmes and festive occasions.
