Parliament will this week begin to consider the budget estimates of MDA’s on individual basis.
By the 30th of March, the House will receive and pass the appropriation act.
This is intended to give the Ministry of Finance the mandate to spend from April 1, 2021.
Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made this known at a media briefing in Accra.
Meanwhile, government through the Minister of Information has expressed gratitude to parliament for the approval of the 2021 budget.
Mr. Oppong Nkrumah said the approval will spur on development for the country as it is critical to restoring debt sustainability.
