A Political Marketing Strategist, Dr. Kobby Mensah says the NDC’s People’s Manifesto launched yesterday captures key issues affecting the needs of the people.

Dr. Mensah told GBC’s Radio Ghana in a Post Manifesto interview that he was impressed with the clear and detailed people centered policies which when implemented would change the course of Ghana’s development.

Dr. Mensah said the Manifesto is a very bold initiative with quality social interventions spelling out policies such as the big push and the four months maternity leave for women and a week’s leave for men to be with their wives.

Meanwhile, the Founding President of IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe says he is overwhelmed and surprised at the deep consultation made by the NDC to craft what he described as a National development document particularly rationalizing the Ministries and reducing the size of Government to save state money.

Mr. Cudjoe said it is good news for private schools to be roped in now as part of the free SHS policy to end the Double Track System.

He said if that is done, it would ensure equity and fairness.
