President Akufo Addo has warned persons who are scheming to influence the work of the the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, to stop because the man will not yield.
News of MP for Bawku central, Mahama Ayariga sending traditional rulers and Men of God to persuade the Special Prosecutor to drop investigations against suspected corrupt practices broke this week.
Speaking at the Graduation ceremony of intake 25 of the Ghana Prisons service, President Akufo Addo said such influence peddlers are engaging in a fruitless venture.
He assured the Prisons service of continued support to decongest the the various prisons. Bright Ntramah has filed this report.
