A Security Analyst, David Agbee, has called on the Electoral Commission to as a matter of urgency set-up a taskforce ahead of the December polls.

He said the violent clashes happening now in some Regions with regard to the voter registration, clearly show what will happen in the upcoming election hence the need for a taskforce.

Speaking on the Uniiq Breakfast Drive, following the disturbances, Mr. Agbee said the EC must identify all hot spots and involve all the security agencies to help curb these threats before the 2020 general election.

He noted that this initiative will help citizens know the significance of election.

Mr. Agbee also urged the Government to revisit the Vigilantism Bill since the political parties are still encouraging the act.

He alleged that the Military is in bed with the vigilantes in the areas where the violent clashes happened.
