The Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Alban Bagbin has warned Ministers of State to be serious with the work of parliament or be ready to face the consequences.
The Minister for Health, Mr. Kweku Agyeman-Manu was expected to appear before the House to answer questions on the health facility of Sefwi Akontombra and others around the country.
The question on the facility has been re-appearing on the order paper for over one week.
The speaker earlier gave the Minister two hours to appear before the house or be ready to face the consequences.
Most of the other Ministers expected in the House did not turn up.
While the speaker allowed their roles to be taken up by others, he warned that any Minister who has any business to do with the House must endeavor to present themselves.
