The NDC has accused the “Invincible Forces”, a group allegedly affiliated to the NPP of preventing Ewes in the Banda Constituency of the Bono Region from registering, while the Security personnel look on.

This was after the NDC Volta MPs Caucus and some National Executives visited Registration Centers in the Constituency.

Former Transport Minister, Mrs. Dzifa Attivor told GBC’s Nathaniel Nartey, that the ‘Challenge Form’ mechanism put in place by the EC to handle “Registration Objections” has been ignored.

She alleged that people bearing Ewe names are being denied the opportunity to register. She said even those who managed to register are yet to receive their cards

Meanwhile, the NPP has refuted allegations that the “Invincible Forces”, a Group affiliated to it, is preventing Ewes from registering in the Banda Constituency as well as the Volta Region.

Deputy General Secretary of the Party, Nana Obiri Buahen said it is unfortunate that the NDC has resorted to tribal politics in a bid to win the elections.
