The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has blamed the Ghana Grid Company, GRIDCO for yesterday’s power outage in parts of the capital, Accra, which has left many areas still without electricity.
In a communique, ECG explained that the outage is due to a technical challenge from GRIDCo.
While apologizing for the inconvenience caused, ECG assured customers that the power supply will be restored to the affected areas once the glitches are resolved.
Areas such as Adabraka, Darkuman, Lapaz, North Kaneshie, Dansoman and Latebiokroshie have been without electricity since yesterday.
