President Akufo-Addo has asked members of the Diplomatic Corps to report any of his appointees who are suspected to have engaged in acts of corruption to enable action to be taken against them.

This will help strengthen the diplomatic relations that exist between Ghana and the diplomatic corps as well as deal with unspecified and generalised commentary on corruption.

His comments come after allegations of corruption were made against his government by some members of the diplomatic corps.

Speaking last night at Peduase in the Eastern Region at this year’s Diplomatic reception, President Akufo-Addo said every act of corruption against his appointees have been investigated disclosing that two members of the current Executives are under investigations.

He said action taken on the botched PDS deal was to prevent rather than condone wrongdoing.
