Road Minister and his Japanese counterpart inspect Tema Motorway expansion project

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwesi Amoako Atta together with his Japanese counterpart who is on a working visit to the country have inspected the Tema Motorway expansion project.

The project which is expected to end next year is about 54 percent complete. Both Ministers expressed satisfaction at the pace of work and commended the contractor, Shimizu Dai-Nippon.

Mr. Amoako Atta, reiterated government’s commitment to the project, saying it will ensure that the construction of the rail line at the southern part of the project does not hinder progress of work.
