Sudan’s Prime Minister has survived an assassination attempt after his convoy was attacked in the capital, Khartoum.
State television said an explosion occurred as Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok’s car drove by.
No-one was hurt. Hamdok, who was appointed to head a transitional government after the overthrow of long-time President Omar al-Bashir last year, has been moved to a safe location.
