Zanetor Rawlings charges parents to support wards education

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Korley Klottey Constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has reiterated the need for parents to help their children acquire knowledge.

She said knowledge is achieved through reading and for the youth to acquire knowledge, parents must inculcate the habit of reading into them.

Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings made the call  at the climax of Christiansborg Baptist Church 70th Anniversary in Accra.

The anniversary brought together the Baptist Fratenity across the country. Dr. Zanetor Rawlings called on parents to be involved in the lives of their children.

Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, Professor Rev. Aaron Mike Oquaye said Christians have the responsibility to tell and stand for the truth. He charged Christians to hold onto their faith in difficult times.

Professor Rev. Mike Oquaye announced that Andrew Bible College will be re opened to teach the fundamentals of Christ.

The Administrator for Africa and Europe, Baptist Mid Mission, Rev. Steve Gault said many churches are deviating from propagating the true gospel and are rather adopting their own doctrine.

He charged the Baptist Church to continue teaching the gospel of the Lord. 

The Chriatianborg Baptist Church, Osu is the first Fundamental Baptist Church Church in Ghana. It was officially inaugurated in April 1949.
