Doreen Ampofo of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) emerged as the most awarded at the 29th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards, held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi under the gracious hosting of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

She walked away with three major honours, Female Journalist of the Year, Best in Documentary Reporting (Radio), and Best in Gender Reporting, a remarkable achievement that underscores her exceptional storytelling, professionalism and dedication to highlighting critical social issues through journalism.
