The Pink Ladies Cup is an invitational women’s football tournament that features four national teams who compete in a round-robin format. Each team plays every other team once. Points are awarded for wins and draws, and the team with the most points at the end of the tournament is crowned champion.
In the event of a tie on points, the tournament uses standard tie-breakers. Goal difference comes first, followed by goals scored, and then head-to-head results between the tied teams.
For the Queens, the Pink Ladies Cup was part of their build‑up to the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations originally slated to begin March 17 in Morocco. CAF recently announced that the tournament has been postponed and rescheduled for July 25 to August 16, 2026, following “unforeseen circumstances” and consultations with partners, including FIFA.
The postponement means more time for competitive preparation ahead of WAFCON 2026.
