Coach Appiah rubbishes SkySports reports on his resignation

The Head Coach of the Senior National team, the Black Stars, Coach James Akwesi Appiah  Tuesday, July 9, 2019, rubbished a malicious reports about his resignation as Ghana’s Black Stars Coach.

In an exclusive interview with gbcghanaonline.com Coach Kwesi Appiah expressed shock and disappointed over the reports in the English leading sports portal for publishing what he described as a frivolous story and calls their integrity to question. “To be honest with you I have no idea where this distraughting report is coming from I’m really disappointed in the media house that published this malicious story sky sports can do better than this”.  Coach Kwesi Appiah further added” I have not spoken to any media house including Skysports.”

The team after exiting the Afcon Tournament is expected to arrive in Ghana later tomorrow (Wednesday).

Meanwhile, the Afcon quarter finals resumes on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, with some interesting match ups.

Senegal takes on Benin with Nigeria coming up against South Africa.
