The week-long training program, held at the Volta Youth Resource Center in Adaklu, brought together juvenile coaches from various football districts in the Volta Region.

Led by renowned instructor Mr. Burton Asare, with support from regional instructors Simon Kpewu and Nana Bodua, the training covered essential methods of grassroots coaching, passing, and dribbling techniques, youth development strategies, injury prevention, and others.

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Asare commended the participants for their dedication and discipline, expressing confidence that the program would yield positive results.

Volta FA Chairman, Mr. Agbogah, also lauded the participants’ conduct, expressing optimism about the next edition of the inter-district juvenile championship.

He commended the GFA President, Mr. Kurt Okraku, and his executive for the laudable initiative to train coaches across the country.

The Regional FA Chairman urged participants to say a prayer for the GFA President anytime they go on their knees to pray.

He added that “It takes a leader with great vision to initiate a program such as this for free for participants”.

He thanked the instructors for their time, patience, and the knowledge imparted.

He further encouraged participants to share their ideas and opinions with the leadership of the Regional FA, which is committed to listening to constructive criticism.

Course Representative, Goodness Bright Mighty, expressed his appreciation on behalf of his colleagues to the GFA President, Mr. Kurt Okraku, for the opportunity to participate in the program, promising to use their knowledge for the development of football in the Volta Region and Ghana at large.
