GFA Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong visited injured supporters of Aduana FC who were involved in a tragic accident in the Ashanti Region.

During the visit, Acheampong checked on the victims receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) and offered words of encouragement and support to their families.

The accident occurred at Aboabo/Aboaso when a tricycle, popularly known as a Pragya, veered off the road and crashed while transporting some Aduana supporters. Two fans lost their lives, while several others were injured, with three reported to be in critical condition.

Aduana FC confirmed the casualties in an earlier statement and noted that two of the victims remain on admission. The club added that it is maintaining close contact with the affected families and will provide updates as necessary.

Acheampong’s visit forms part of the GFA’s effort to stand with the victims and ensure they receive the needed support as they recover.
