Jannik Sinner delivered a commanding performance to sweep aside Novak Djokovic 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 in the Wimbledon 2025 semi-finals, booking his first-ever final appearance at the All England Club. The 23-year-old Italian’s straight-sets victory ended Djokovic’s bid for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title and set up a highly anticipated showdown with Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday.

Sinner’s clinical display on the grass courts showcased his growth and confidence, as he dismantled the seven-time Wimbledon champion who was visibly hampered by physical struggles following a fall in his previous match. The Italian broke Djokovic’s serve early and maintained relentless pressure, securing a straight-sets win in just over two hours and 20 minutes, marking his first victory over Djokovic at Wimbledon after losses in 2022 and 2023.

The final promises a thrilling rematch of last month’s epic Roland Garros final, where Sinner narrowly missed out on the title after squandering three championship points against Alcaraz. Both players, now the top two ranked men’s tennis stars, will renew their rivalry on Centre Court, with Alcaraz aiming for a third consecutive Wimbledon crown after defeating Taylor Fritz in four sets.

Sinner’s triumph not only signals his arrival as a major contender on grass but also marks his fourth consecutive Grand Slam final appearance, underscoring his consistency and elite status in men’s tennis. Meanwhile, Djokovic’s exit ends a remarkable Wimbledon run, where he sought to extend his record eight titles but was ultimately outplayed by the younger challenger
